Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Clipo mobile application and related keyboard extension (“Clipo,” “the app,” or “the service”). By downloading, installing, or using Clipo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Who we are
Clipo is provided by the developer of Clipo (“we,” “us,” or “our”). For questions about these Terms, contact us at mumen.sh@gmail.com.
2. The service
Clipo is a clipboard manager and optional custom keyboard for Android and iOS. It lets you save, organize, search, and reuse clipboard content on your device. Clipo also offers an optional paid subscription, Clipo Pro, that unlocks additional features such as higher clip and template limits.
A free version of Clipo remains available without a subscription. We may change, update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, with or without notice, except where prohibited by applicable law or store rules.
3. License to use the app
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Clipo on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use (unless we agree otherwise in writing).
You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of Clipo, except where applicable law expressly permits it
- Rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or redistribute the app
- Use Clipo in any unlawful manner or to infringe the rights of others
- Interfere with or disrupt the app, its security, or related systems
- Use the app to develop a competing product based on unauthorized access to our code or services
4. No account required
Clipo does not require you to create an account to use the app. Subscription status, if applicable, is managed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account and verified through our subscription provider.
5. Your content and clipboard data
You are responsible for the content you copy, store, export, or manage with Clipo, including ensuring you have the right to store and use that content.
Clipboard history, templates, keyboard learned words, and related app content are stored locally on your device unless you explicitly export or share them using features you initiate. We do not claim ownership of your clipboard content. Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Clipo Pro subscriptions
6.1 Subscription. Clipo Pro is an auto-renewable subscription (or other in-app purchase type offered in the store) that unlocks Pro features. The specific features included in Clipo Pro are described in the app and store listing at the time of purchase.
6.2 Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. We do not process payment card information directly. All billing is handled by Apple or Google under their respective terms and privacy policies.
6.3 Price and duration. The subscription price and billing period (for example, monthly or annual) are shown in the App Store or Google Play before you confirm purchase. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change for new purchases. Tax may apply where required by law.
6.4 Auto-renewal. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, your subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
6.5 Free trials and introductory offers. If we offer a free trial or introductory price, the store will display the terms before you subscribe. Unless you cancel before the trial or introductory period ends, you may be charged the regular subscription price when that period ends.
6.6 Cancellation. You may cancel anytime through your device’s subscription settings:
- iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Clipo
- Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Clipo
You may also use the in-app subscription management screen where available. Cancellation stops future charges. You will retain Pro access until the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise stated by the store.
6.7 Restore purchases. If you reinstall Clipo or switch devices, you can restore prior purchases using the same Apple ID or Google account through the in-app restore option, subject to store rules.
6.8 Subscription verification. We use Apple, Google, and RevenueCat to verify whether you have an active Clipo Pro entitlement. This process uses purchase and subscription information only. It does not include your clipboard contents, keystrokes, or templates. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests must be submitted through the store that billed you. We cannot issue refunds directly for store purchases. Store refund policies apply.
8. Third-party services and app stores
Your use of Clipo through the Apple App Store or Google Play is also subject to that store’s terms and policies. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for Clipo or its content, except as required by their platform rules.
On iOS, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary. This does not affect your statutory rights.
We use RevenueCat as a subscription management provider. RevenueCat’s services are used solely to process and verify in-app purchases on our behalf.
9. Privacy
Your use of Clipo is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle information, including subscription-related data. By using Clipo, you acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Policy.
10. Keyboard and device permissions
Some features require system permissions, such as keyboard access, clipboard access, notifications, biometrics, or background activity. You may grant or revoke these permissions in your device settings. Certain core features may not work without required permissions.
If you enable keyboard Full Access on iOS, Clipo uses that capability only as described in the Privacy Policy and in-app disclosures. You are responsible for deciding whether to grant such access.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Clipo to store, process, or distribute illegal content, malware, content that violates others’ rights, or content you are not authorized to possess. You are solely responsible for how you use the app and any consequences of copying, storing, or sharing sensitive information on your device.
12. Disclaimers
Clipo is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that data will never be lost.
Clipboard managers and keyboards handle sensitive information. You are responsible for maintaining backups, using app lock where appropriate, and protecting your device. We are not responsible for loss of data caused by device failure, OS restrictions, uninstallation, clearing app data, or actions you take inside or outside the app.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we and our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of Clipo, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to Clipo or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for Clipo Pro in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $10.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability or disclaimers of implied warranties. In those jurisdictions, our liability and warranties are limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
14. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of Clipo, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
15. Termination
You may stop using Clipo at any time by uninstalling the app and cancelling any active subscription. We may suspend or terminate your access to Clipo if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service, subject to applicable law and store rules.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations already incurred, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will survive.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we may also notify you in the app or through the store listing. Continued use of Clipo after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
17. Children
Clipo is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you are under the age required to consent to these Terms in your jurisdiction, you may use Clipo only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Subscription purchases must be made by an authorized account holder.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the developer of Clipo operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.

19. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any store-specific terms that apply, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding Clipo.
- Severability. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- No waiver. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
