Please include your device model, OS version (iOS or Android), and Clipo version when reporting a problem.
Getting started (iOS)
- Add the keyboard: Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard → choose Clipo.
- Use Clipo while typing: Switch to the Clipo keyboard where you want clipboard capture and quick access to clips.
- Full Access: If Clipo asks you to enable Full Access for the keyboard, that allows the keyboard and the main app to share clips locally via your device’s app group. Clipo does not upload clipboard or keystroke data, sell your data, or run ads.
Getting started (Android)
- Enable the keyboard: Settings → System → Languages & input → On-screen keyboard → enable Clipo, then select it as your input method.
- Clipboard capture: On Android 10 and above, clipboard history is captured when the Clipo keyboard is active.
- Background monitoring: Optional — enable in Clipo settings if you want the app to monitor the clipboard without the keyboard being active.
Clipo Pro (subscriptions)
- What it is: Clipo Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks higher limits (more clips and templates). The free tier remains available without subscribing.
- Upgrade: Open Clipo → Settings → Upgrade to Clipo Pro.
- Restore purchases: Settings → Restore purchases (use the same Apple ID or Google account you originally bought with).
- Manage or cancel: Settings → Manage subscription (in-app), or cancel in your App Store / Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation stops future charges; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: Purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests must be submitted through the store that billed you — we cannot issue refunds directly.
- Billing vs. clipboard: Subscription verification uses purchase data only. It does not include your clipboard history, keystrokes, or templates.
Clipboard and data
- Where clipboard data lives: History, clips, and templates are stored on your device only. Clipo does not sync your clipboard to our servers.
- Accounts: No Clipo account is required. Subscription status is verified through Apple, Google, and our subscription provider (RevenueCat) using purchase records — not your clipboard content.
- Removing data: Deleting the app or clearing app data removes local history. Export or copy anything important before uninstalling. Cancelling Clipo Pro does not delete your local clips.
- App lock: Optional Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint protects opening the main app.
Troubleshooting
- Keyboard does not appear (iOS): Confirm Clipo is added under Keyboards and selected from the globe / keyboard switcher.
- Keyboard does not appear (Android): Confirm Clipo is enabled under On-screen keyboard and selected as the current input method.
- Clips do not update: On Android, ensure the Clipo keyboard is active when copying. On iOS, use the keyboard’s Paste action when Full Access is enabled.
- Missing Full Access (iOS): Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Clipo → turn on Allow Full Access if the app directs you to.
- Pro features not unlocked after purchase: Try Settings → Restore purchases. Confirm you are signed into the same store account used for the purchase. Restart the app if needed.
- Still charged after cancelling: Check your App Store or Google Play subscription page — you may still be within the current paid period. Future renewals should stop after cancellation.
Legal
Subscription purchases are subject to the Terms of Use and the privacy practices described in the Privacy Policy. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account. Manage or cancel in your store account settings.
